Chester Lynn Rison

Chester Rison, 69, of LaGrange passed away April 4, 2026 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.

Chester was a quiet, fierce and extraordinary provider for his family.  He loved Ford cars, especially Ford Mustangs and moreover he loved his family. He was a very talented welder, mechanic, machinist. 

He is survived by his son, Chester Rison, Jr.; daughter, Brandie McGaha; daughter, Ashley Tyler; stepdaughters, Shawnna Howard and Angela Sears; brother, Danny Rison; sister, Donna Martin; brother Marvin Rison; brother, Troy Rison as well as numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

Chesters claim to fame was the size of his heart.  He will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be Thursday, 2pm, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.  Visitation will begin at 10 am and go until time of service.
