Charlotte Davis

Charlotte Ann Davis, age 90, of Prospect Ky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026. 

She was born in McCracken County, KY to the late Anderson Bailey Carroll and Marion Emma Williams Carroll.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Edward) Perry; her son, Mark Wm. Davis (fiancé Heather Durham); her grandchildren, Gabrielle Davis (fiancé Nicholas Seibert) Christopher (Mariah) Davis; great grandchildren, Audrey and Baker Davis; her niece Carol (Fred) Denning; and her great nieces, Taylor Denning (fiancé Zachary Muscarella), and Camryn Denning. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert; her sister, Lucille C. Greene; and her twin sister Shirley Ann Carroll. 

Charlotte had a special calling to work with young children and spent many years teaching three-year-old preschool Sunday school and bible school. She touched countless lives through her patience, kindness, and gentle guidance, leaving a lasting impression on both her students and their families. Her nurturing spirit, warm heart, and unwavering faith will be remembered and cherished always.

Above all else, Charlotte was defined by her fierce and unwavering love for her family. She was the steady heart of every gathering, believing that the best way to show her affection was through time spent together—often gathered around her sun room.

There will be a visitation on Friday 01/16/2026 from 4-7.  Services will begin at 1 pm, Saturday, 01/17/2026 at Stoess funeral home, 6534 West State Hwy 22, Crestwood KY 40014. A short burial service will be held at Harrods Creek Cemetery, 8104 KY-329, Crestwood, KY.
