Charles Chamberlain Obituary

Charles Chamberlain, long-time resident of PeWee Valley, Ky., passed away on January 6, 2020. He was born in Louisville, Ky., on August 22,1936. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lubina (Woodcock) Chamberlain and his brother Curtis (Dorothy); sisters-in-law Novella (Woodcock) Brown of PeWee Valley and Jenny (Wendall) Embry of Caneyville, Ky as well as dozens of loving nieces and nephews who will also miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Margaret Chamberlain of Louisville. Charles was retired from L&L Railroad, serving over 40 years with the company. An avid music lover, he enjoyed traveling to concerts with his wife to see the Four Freshmen.Visitation is Thursday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Stoess Funeral Home, 6534 W State Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 10.Burial will be in the Floydsburg Cemetery, 5600 Old Floydsburg Road Crestwood, Kentucky, 40014
