Carol Darlene Toney

Carol Darlene Toney passed away March 11th at the age of 78 years old. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband Jerry Toney of 57 years and her Family.
Carol was born in Detroit Michigan on July 7th 1947 to Cledith and Dolores Decker. Carol was an accomplished singer. She sang with her family the Jubliee Trio where she met her husband Jerry and they continued to sing as the Jubliee Singers. She raised three Children Kristina Wurtsmith, Carrie Marshall ( John Marshall) and Matthew Toney ( Emily Toney) in Louisville Kentucky. She loved to crochet beautiful blankets for her family. Cross stitch beautiful pictures for her loved ones. She enjoyed singing, dancing and baking with her family.
The Most joy she found in her life was spending time with her grand children. Michelle Marshall ( James Mcintyre), Jerry ( JC) Marshall, Chase Wurtsmith, Tyler Wurtsmith, Madison Wurtsmith, Jacob Toney, Andrew Toney, Lucy, Toney, Grace Toney, and Claire Toney. And her Great Grandson Grayson Mcintyre.
She is Survived by Husband Jerry, Her Children and Grand Children, Great Grandson and her Brother Craig Decker.
She is Preceded in death by her parents, Cledith and Dolores Decker, Her sister Cleda Corrine ( Cork) Little her sister in law Beth Decker and her in-laws Alden and Betty Toney.
