Carl Edward Bills

Carl Edward Bills, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 9, 2026.  Carl was a steady dependable man who devoted his life to caring for his family.  Carl enjoyed fishing, boating, bowling, and spending time with his wife and family.  Of course, he will be remembered for his fantastic sense of humor, and his love of Louisville basketball.  He worked for several years as a journeyman union pipefitter with Local 502.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Bills; his sons, Mike and Bryan Bills; and his granddaughter, Raegan Bills, as well as several extended family members he loved dearly. 

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Carolyn Bills; his sister, Lou Anne Schultz, and his 
daughter-in-law Audra Bills.

A funeral service will be held at St. Aloysius Chapel in Pewee Valley on Friday, August 14, 2026. Visitation
from 9:30am - 11:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30am.  A comfort meal will be served at St Aloysius after funeral mass. Afterwards we will proceed to Calvary Cemetery Chapel.

Carl will be remembered for his quiet strength, his loyalty, and the way he showed his love for his family and friends.
