Brenda Lee Dunaway

Brenda Lee Dunaway, 61, beloved wife of James, passed away peacefully, on November 28, 2022, in Louisville.  She was born on September 5, 1961, in Lagrange, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Marjorie Catherine Hinton and James Johnston (Red).  Brenda was wonderful sister to her 11 siblings and was a loving Mom and Mamaw to many.  Besides her husband of 42 years, James, she is survived by her daughters, Heather Jeffries (John), Ashley Dunaway (Wendell), Shelly Dunaway, grandsons, James (Bubby) and Abel and numerous extended family and friends.   She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Anthony “Tony” Dunaway, 2 sisters and 1 brother.  Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Monday, at the Funeral Home, with Brother Barry Harkness officiating.  Interment will be immediately following at Valley of Rest Cemetery in Lagrange.
