Beverly Lynn (Martin) Choat

Beverly Martin Choat, 78, of LaGrange, passed away, Monday, July 13, 2026 at the Springs at Oldham Reserve.

She was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church and retired from the Oldham County Board of Education.  She enjoyed reading, cross stitching and quilting.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Beaufort "Doc", and her brother, Dale.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joe Choat; children, Glenn Choat (Sherry) and Joely Choat Arthur; grandchildren, Collin Choat, Madison Haden (Will), Kaitlyn Choat, Josh Arthur; brother Jimmy  Martin (Nancy); several nieces, nephews and extended family.
