Betty Moll Martin

Elizabeth “Betty” Lane (Moll) Martin, 95, passed peacefully, on May 28, 2022, surrounded by love. She was born on May 21, 1927, in Louisville, KY, to parents, Charles Joseph Moll, Sr. and Mary Louise Wigginton Moll McHugh, both deceased.  She is also preceeded in death by her husband, Howard L Martin; daughter, Mary Louise Martin; siblings, Charles Joseph Moll, Jr. and Margaret Louise Moll MacLeish; and nephew, Daniel Moll.  She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Karen Moll, Stephen Moll, Robin Moll, Tina Wilson, Mary Beth Sheehan, Meg Mott, Morellen MacLeish, and their families.

Known for her kind heart, gentle spirit and love for her family, friends and animals, Betty is beloved by many.  Significant people in her life include her bonus children, Jody Maypother and Holly Clark; bonus grandson, Adam Diaz; and cherished friends, Sue and family, Mary Ann, Jim and Babs, and other neighbors on “the lane”. Additionally, her treasured caregivers/friends, Jackie, Millie, Elizabeth, Jacqui, Bailey, Teresa, Jenna, and Hosparus caregivers, all made it possible for her last wish,”to stay in my own home with my own puppy.”

 Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood, Kentucky.  A  Memorial  service will be held at 12:30 PM at the funeral home . Interment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's honor, to the Animal Care Society, 12207 Westport Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
