Annette Rose (Allen) Cobb

Annette Allen Cobb, 91, of Pewee Valley passed away August 14, 2026 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.

She was a graduate of Lexington Lafayette High School and Georgetown College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education.  She furthered her accomplishments earning her Master's Degree and Rank 1 from Butler University, Eastern Kentucky University and University of Louisville.   She taught for over 34 years, ending her career at Oldham County Middle School.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, J. Buford Cobb, Jr.; son, Dwayne Allen Cobb; parents, Clyde C. Allen and Evelyn Fern Rose Allen; brothers, Bruce Allen and Clyde Allen,  brother-in-law Charlie Carter; and daughter in law Janice Reh Cobb.

She is survived by her children, Buf Cobb, Mark Cobb, Tara Cobb Kaiser (Ted), daughter in law Patty Cobb; grandchildren, Chase Cobb (Ashley), Trey Kaiser (Whitney), Stefanie Patsfield (Brent), Anna Fuqua (Jacob), Aaron Cobb (Caitlin), Mackenzie DeKay (Jeff), Katie Masters (James), Aubrey Warmouth (Zach), Justin Cobb (Dani), Jenny Stewart (Jordan), Madison Bullock (Drew), Mason Cobb; great grandchildren, Jackson Cobb, Braelyn Cobb, Leighton Cobb, Ace Cobb, Karmin Cobb, Ella Jane Fuqua, Jude Merrin Fuqua, Theodore Harrison Kaiser IV, John Julius Kaiser, Drake Richard DeKay, Penelope Elizabeth DeKay; siblings, Jim Allen (Sherry), John Allen (Cheryl); sister in laws, Edna Allen and Barbara Rice (Don); Patricia Cobb, Betty Carter, brother in laws, Melvyn Cobb, Greg Cobb and many, many, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank Debbie and Paige Whitlow for their unwaivering patience, love and care they have given Mom over the past several years.  You truly pampered her until her last moments.  Words cannot express our immense gratitude and appreciation that we have for both of you.  THANK YOU!!!
