Anna "Jane" Bond went to her eternal rest Friday September 24, 2021. Jane was born in Tiline, Kentucky on April 1, 1926 to Camba Lee Driskill and Allie Wilson Driskill. She married Harry Cecil Bond on August 4. 1952. Jane worked in corrections at KCPC in LaGrange, KY, retiring in 1984 after 30 years of service .She was a faithful member for many years at Pee Wee Valley Baptist church in Pee Wee Valley, KY. Jane also travelled to Florida for many years during the winter season. While there, she was a companion to the sick and elderly in their homes. Jane loved to travel, and could often be found boarding a bus to travel around the country with one of the senior group bus tours. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. She loved her life, her family, and her church. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Camba and Allie Driskill, her husband Harry C. Bond, and by her siblings, Preston Driskill, MeKetis Driskill, Inez Hill, Ida Belle Brasher, and Mary Etta Guess. She is survived by Her sons Michael Henson(Elizabeth) and Neal Bond(Mabel); Granddaughters Kathy Woodward(Bryan), Kelly Thompson and Jennifer Bond; Great grandchildren Ricky Hensley(Kelsey Jo), Krystal Henson, Sky Woodward and Great Great Grandchildren Drake Rounds, Gabriella Hensley, Carter Hensley, Mason Hensley, Hunter Hensley. Jane requested no visitation be held at the funeral home. Instead, as was her wish, there will be a simple graveside ceremony at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, KY Saturday October 2nd,2021 at 2 p.m. All arrangements are being handled by Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
