Andres Delin Obituary

Andres Parra Delin, 31 of Crestwood, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Andres Parra Delin announces his sudden passing on Saturday, January 23, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.
Andres will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and devoted wife, Anabel Jimenez; his three beautiful children, Rosie, Evelyn and Ethan; his mother, Juana Delin Olivares; father, Agustin Rincon; siblings, Angelica Parra, Marisol Parra, Agustin Parra, and Lili Parra; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sergio Jimenez- Trejo and Reyna Espinosa; sister-in-law, Marisol Jimenez; brother-in-law, Sergio Jimenez (Johana Cruc) and several nieces and nephews: Victor Jimenez, William Jimenez, Delilah Jimenez, Braelyn Jimenez, Aiden Jimenez and Jaxiel Jimenez. Andres was born in Veracruz, Mexico. At age 16, he and Anabel, left Mexico in search of a better life, which he eventually found in Oldham County.  He worked at Moonscapes in Goshen, while also managing his own professional services company.  His infectious kindness, incandescent smile, generous spirit and incomparable work ethic will forever be remembered.  He set a standard for his immigrant community.  His passing has sent a ripple of grief throughout Oldham County. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and clients, many of whom became more like extended family over the years.  Andres was deeply devoted to his family, and cherished his time with them exploring the countryside and riding four wheelers.  Andres had a great deal of empathy for his fellow man. His legacy will live on in our hearts and his spirit will forever rest in Oldham County.

Visitation is offered from 4 – 7pm on Friday, January 29 at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, Ky.  A memorial service will begin at 6pm.  Andres had a noble heart, always wanting to help in any way he could. In 2013, he began donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He would always say:
“Always do your part, no matter what situation you’re in. I will always help the children”. In his honor memorial gifts can be made to Memorial Educational Fund for Andres Delin family c/o any Stockyards Bank or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
