Amy Burns Carmony

Amy Burns Carmony (58) of Crestwood, KY, passed away on December 26, 2025, in Louisville, KY after a hard-fought battle following an unexpected illness.;

Amy was born in Louisville, Ky to David and Patricia Burns on August 26, 1967.  Amy worked various positions in sales and made friends wherever she went.  Amy never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand. 

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Omer and Louise Marcell and William and Grace Burns.  

In addition to her parents, Amy is survived by her loving son, Isaac Petry; brothers, Todd Burns (Pam) and Patrick Burns; and companion, Les McGaughey.

Pallbearers will be Todd Burns, Patrick Burns, Trenton Burns, Joel Petry, Dr. Michael Petry and Les McGaughey.

Visitation will be January 6, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm at Crestwood Baptist Church.  Funeral service will begin at 1pm at the church with Pastor Steve Self Officiating.  Burial will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.
