Ronald Walter Zolkiewicz

Ronald Walter Zolkiewicz Jr., (born 7-27-69) adored husband of Heidi, beloved son of Ronald Sr. and Sandra, bigger-than-life brother to Michael and Christine left this world a better place on Wednesday, September 20th.  His heart was destined for more as he departed all too soon, relaxing in his home in Crestwood at age 48.

Ron will be remembered for his devotion to the love of his life- Heidi, his generosity, his ability to put smiles on the faces of all he met, his massive capacity to love and his irreverent humor known lovingly as “Uncle Wrong.” He held unrivaled qualities: his ability to make friends with strangers, to build the perfect fire, his faith in God, protector of all he loved, admirer of an amazing sunset, the creator of ‘love sauce,’ seeker of the perfect beach, instigator of excitement and lover of music.  Ron lived a passionate life with an immense love for Peachz, his family, his friends and of course his beloved Stella & Micah.  There exists a Ron-sized impression on all of us who were blessed to have enjoyed such a force of nature and love.  

His family welcomes all who would like to celebrate Ron’s life during a Memorial this Tuesday, Sept. 26th at 7:00pm at the Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY.
