Mary Lewis (Crain) Chapman

Mary Lewis Chapman passed away Wednesday March, 15, 2017, early morning, but woke up with Jesus welcoming her with more of her loving family.
Mary was born in Uno, KY and moved to Louisville with her husband at age 18. Mary loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.She loved her churches, singing in the choir, and passionate about reading books during her early years.
Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Morris David Chapman. She is survived by her children John Chapman(Sandra) and Kimberly Lewis Sanders(Mike), grandsons, David Chapman, Wes Chapman, and Chad Sanders, and 4 great granddaughters, Halle, Sydney, Cloe, and Addilyn; nephew, Steven Dennison, and nieces Richele Manion, and Lauren Whitney.
The family would like to send special thanks to those that have been there for Mom and us, including friends from Magnolia S.E. and the loving care from Friendship H.R.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1PM untll 3PM at Crestwood United Methodist Church.  Funeral service will begin at 3PM with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may go to the Kilgus House at Crestwood Methodist Church for gratitude to the sewing circle that helped care for Mary during her time of need. Arrangements were entrusted to Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.
