Linda Cushing Obituary

Linda Faye Howard Cushing, who was born July 13th, 1956 in Louisville, KY died Sunday December 2nd in Jeffersonville, IN after a lengthy battle with cancer. Linda Faye grew up on a horse farm in Crestwood, KY. Her father broke the horses and her Uncle David was the all-time leading trainer/driver at Louisville Downs. Linda Faye graduated from Oldham County High School in 1974. She rooted for UK, the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers.

Linda Faye is survived by a daughter, Caitlin (Scotty Sheehan) and their 2 sons Marcas and Coen, a son, Dennis, a sister, donna Murphy, a brother, Charles Howard and a stepmother, Penny Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rhelda (Ladd) Howard.

In accordance with Linda Faye's wishes, there will be no funeral service. She will be cremated and her ashes spread over her father's grave. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Stoess Funeral Home, 6534 West Highway 22, Crestwood, Kentucky 40014, Friday December 7th from 4-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Audubon Society. Linda Faye, a free spirit, loved birds.
