Leonard Wood Webb

Lt. Colonel Leonard "Buddy" Webb, 83 of Crestwood,KY, passed away peacefully at Baptist Health Louisville on June 28th,2017. He was born January 1st, 1934 in Lindseyville,Ky. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 25 years of service, after which he was Vice-President of Operations for Goodwill Industries of Missouri, and retired finally from Southern School Supply in 1996. Although in poor health recently, Leonard remained an inspiration to his family because of his Christian witness and deep affection for his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Virginia Webb; sister Mae Dean Thigpen, and brothers Jack Webb, Jimmy Webb, and Jerry Webb. Col Webb is survived by his wife, Marian Lane Webb, Brother Johnny (Glenna), and sister Jill (Steve) Skaggs. He is also survived by three children, Frank Webb, Elizabeth(David)Cooke, Margaret(Celeste)Webb, and daughter-in-law Gail C. Webb. He was blessed with five grandchildren: Rachel, Hannah, Matthew, Alyson, and Mark, and three great grandchildren: Matthew, Eliana, and Mary Lane. Additional services will be held at Patton Funeral Home Tuesday July 4th,2017 from 11am -2pm with graveside service to follow.
