Kim (Givens) Silcox

Kim Silcox would like to announce the grand opening of her new store located within the gates of Heaven.  On Friday, August 9th, 2019, Kim received a call about an amazing storefront that she couldn't resist. The store will forever be stocked with smiles, laughter, and an unlimited supply of painted furniture to till all of Heaven.  Kim's new store will have two heavenly employees with her younger brothers, Todd and Bo, to assist with all daily operations.  Her husband of 30 years, Carl Silcox, was the love of her life and her best friend.  From the moment they met under the Starlight until the end, their love set an example for all those around them that true love does exist.  Through their journey they raised their three children, Dalton Silcox, Tori (Eric) Standafer, and Drake Silcox.  Her biggest supporters, mother, Grace (Larry) Collins; father, Charlie (Pam) Givens; brother, Chad (Kayla) Collins; brother, Jason (Jessica) Givens; sister, Jenny (Kyle) Peacock; and other family members will be supporting her new adventure. 
Come celebrate the opening of her new location with her friends and family at 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 15th, 2019 at Crestwood Baptist Church.  A soft opening store visitation will be held from 11:00 to 2:30 pm on Thursday, August 15th, 2019 at the church.  Kim will be laid to rest in Floydsburg Cemetery.  Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood, handled arrangements. condolences:www.stoessfuneralhome.com
