Bessie Lorene (Rucker) Cays

Bessie Cays, 89, of Crestwood passed away July 18th, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was a member of Pewee Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She was an LPN having worked at Mallory Taylor Hospital, Pleasant Grove Hospital and Friendship Manor Nursing Home.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cays and daughter, Marlene Hibbard.

She is survived by her son, Larry Cays (Robin); daughter, Darlene Powell (Earl); brother, Kenny Rucker (Ana); 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral service will be Tuesday 3pm, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood with burial in Floydsburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1pm until time of service.
