Allen Michael Brashear 1990-2019

Allen Brashear, 29, of Louisville, KY passed away on February 7, 2019. He was born in Binghamton, NY on January 11, 1990 to Holly Newport and Michael Brashear. He was a former Marine.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Michael McMinoway and grandmother Helga Taumua.            

He is survived by his mother Holly Newport (Michael), his father Michael Brashear, his sister Lyndsey Newport, brothers Jacob Newport and Bradley Newport and grandparents, Betsy Daugherty (Steve), Sue Smith (Tony), and David Newport (Marsha).

He had a love for life, but a love for the Kentucky Wildcats even more. With an infectious laugh, he never met a stranger. He chose to celebrate life by playing golf, fishing, hunting, and listening to music with the sand between his toes. The love he gave to both his families and friends persists beyond him.

Visitation will be Monday February 11 from 2pm to 7pm at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY. The service will begin at 7:00pm.
