Una Victoria Dunn was the youngest child of Jacob Sandford Dunn and Neva McClanahan, born October 25th, 1930 in Blount County, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hollis Eugene and Farris Woodrow, and her husband Roy Estel Dennis.  Una is survived by her brother, Hillard Burton Dunn, her children Vickie Anne Dennis Wheatley (Jim) and Stephen Mark Dennis, her grandchildren Stephen Patrick Wheatley, Anne Victoria Wheatley Tomasello (Jonathon), Katherine Anne Dennis Nye (Thomas), Christine Elizabeth Dennis Myers (Christopher), Eric Bryan Dennis, and Mary Catherine Burroughs.  She has four great-grandchildren: Ender Patrick Wheatley, Neva Victoria Tomasello, Cordelia Anna Tomasello, and Edith Louise Nye.
Una was a graduate of the East Tennessee Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and received her license as a Registered Nurse from the Tennessee Board of Nursing, in November, 1951. She took great pride in her profession and her ability to provide care for her patients.
On June 20th, 1953, Una and Roy were married in Knoxville, Tennessee, beginning a new chapter in both of their lives. Always enjoying life to the fullest, Una and Roy traveled throughout the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), Mexico, Canada, and England. Friends and family were often the recipients of roses in an array of hues and fragrances from Una’s rose garden, as well as lovingly prepared meals, topped off by homemade pies for which she was renowned.  She was an exemplary seamstress, creating heirloom dresses for all of her granddaughters and intricate needlework and ribbon work as decorative pieces for her home.
Una loved to golf, entertain, play bridge, and spend time with her family. She touched everyone she met in some way. She is loved.
