Stephen Todd Harrison

Stephen Todd Harrison, a long-time resident of Louisville, Kentucky area passed away on Friday, September 2nd, 2016 after a valiant battle with lung cancer.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Coy and Janet Harrison, of WV; his maternal grandmother, Pauline Hall, of WV; his step-Dad, Gary Burgess, of AL; and his baby cousin, Shaun Massey, of NY. 

Todd was born Nov 10, 1967, and attended Poca High School in WV.  He is survived by his father, Steve (Dorothy) Harrison, of WV; mother, Glenda Burgess, of AL, brother, Brent (Marcia) Harrison, of TX, with daughter, Alana; sister Nancy (Sean) Harter with son Michael Massey; brother Richie (Elisha) Holleron with daughter Ashlie and son Colton; sister Candice (Richard) Dodson with daughter Hannah and son Gavin Davis of AL; sister Katie (Adam) Davis of AL; maternal grandfather Leslie Hall of WV, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Todd was so very loved by family and friends and was truly humbled.  He and his Ghost Busters group were family to each other, and not only had fun but devoted their time to many charitable works.  This was one of his great passions.  He loved his work family and they truly loved him.  He truly never realized the extent of his influence on others.  His hobbies along with Ghost Busters were cooking (and eating) and anything to do with nature.

There are no words to express the depth of the void created by his passing, but we who love and miss him are sure in the love and faith he had at the end of his life.  We have the faith and hope of the resurrection, and that at that day our joy will be in greeting Todd once again.  May God bless and keep each of you is our fervent prayer.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm at Pewee Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church on Saturday, Sep 10th, 2016.  There will be a luncheon provided afterward in the fellowship hall.  Please come and celebrate Todd’s life with us.
