Michael Lee Breit, Sr.

Michael(Mike) Lee Breit, Sr., of LaGrange, KY passed away Monday, April 10th, 2017, in Louisville, KY with his family by his side. He was 63 years old.

Mike was born November 15, 1953, to Louis F. Sr.(Louie) and Ruth(Ruthie) Breit in Louisville, KY. He attended St. Anthony’s Catholic School and graduated from Flaget High School in 1971.

He is survived by son Michael Lee Breit, Jr., daughter Allison Fallin(Jayson), grandson Andrew Michael Fallin, brother Louis F., Jr.(Rick) Breit(Paulette), sisters Marquita Breit, Lisa Ann Breit, and Kimberly(Kim) Breit, Niece Shannon Breit, Nephew Jason Breit(Christy), great nephews Henry and Jacob Breit, great niece Lucy Breit, as well as his cherished love, Patricia Ann(Penny) Burdette.

He is preceded in death by parents Louis F. Sr.(Louie) and Ruth(Ruthie) Breit.

Mike was a devoted member of his church, Immaculate Conception Parish.  He was an amazing Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Companion, and Friend. He was an extremely hard working and determined man that didn’t let cancer stand in his way of the things he cared about most. He loved his family, loved his home, loved his work, and loved his UK Wildcats.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 16th, 2017 from 2-8 PM at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY. Service will be Monday, April 17th, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church in LaGrange, KY at 11 AM. Final resting place to be at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
