Kathi Allison (Kelley) Richards

Kathi Allison (Kelley) Richards entered this life on October 14, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN, then departed this life on May 24, 2016, in Louisville, KY, from complications with cancer. She was a wife, a mother, a sister, and a daughter. She will be greatly missed and always loved.Her life is and will be a testament of a good and tenderhearted woman who had a deep love for people as well as cats. She always chose to look for the good in people instead of focusing on the bad. She was the Administrative Assistant at Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church the past 10 years. Her family was always an important part of her life and one that she cherished every minute.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Bill Richards and their 16-year-old daughter, Hannah. Also surviving her are her mother, Donna Heddles, and her father, Don Kelley. Her siblings include Koy Glover, Kurt Kelley, and Kerri Dubas.  She had countless relatives and their beloved families, all of whom are feeling the pain of letting go, for Kathi is, was and always will be loved and sorely missed.

Her stepfather, Phil Heddles, grandparents, Earl and Crystal Kelley and Bill and Hazel Telinde preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 from 10:00 – 12:00 at Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church, 119 Central Ave, Pewee Valley, KY 40056.  The memorial service will be at noon with reception following.

Contributions in memory of Kathi may be made to the American Cancer Society or to animal shelters
