Hans Georg Peterbreit

Hans Petereit, 80, of Crestwood, KY, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Hosparus Downtown.

He was the first exchange student from Germany in 1953 and graduated from Carmel High School in California before returning to Germany.  Once back in Germany Hans earned a Doctorate in Law from Keil Germany.  Hans met his wife Donna in Athens Greece and returned to the United States in 1978.

Hans worked as Director of Credit International for Motor Iberica in Barcelona Spain; was manager of Banking International for Monsanto Europe in Brussels Belgium; and finally started his own company as P and P International Trade and Finance and Import where he imported European Diving Equipment and later focused on Agricultural trade from Mexico.

Hans is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Carla Whipkey; son, Kurt Turner; 6 grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth, Cristal, and Gitti who live in Frankfurt and Kiel Germany.

Cremation was chosen.
