Catherine (Cathy) Ann (Lorenz) Hartman

 Catherine Ann Lorenz Hartman (Cathy) 57, of Louisville, lost her courageous battle with cancer as the angels called her home October 10th, 2017 with her loving husband of 35 years, family, and music all around her.
Cathy was a  devoted wife to Steve and mother to Cam and Mitch, wonderful sister to Lori and Dan, a loving grandmother to Brooklyn and a loyal friend to many.  She was a 1978 graduate of Westport High School, 1982 University of Louisville graduate, an expert on the Kentucky Derby infield, and  a member of Phos community Church.  Cathy will be heavenly welcomed by her grandparents, Earnest and Catherine Whilhoyte; Otto and Caroline Lorenz; parents, Doris and Richard Lorenz;  along with many aunts and uncles.  
We will be celebrating Cathy's well lived, spirited story with a gathering of family and friends, Sunday from 2-6 PM, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.  A memorial service will begin at 6pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Lake Lodge, American Cancer Society or Hosparus.
